Is Xtreme Conversions worth the money?

Since making a post on Digital Point forums saying that I use Xtreme Conversions I have received a couple of PM’s asking if it is worth the money.  This is why I have decided to write a full review on the product.

I am not going to tell you its brilliant and go buy it, only to shove my affiliate link in your face.  I am going to give your a 100% honest review of Xtreme Conversions.

Why I bought Xtreme Conversions
I have been promoting the Satellite TV for PC program for a while now and I receive a few sales a day, one day I made 5 sales which was great!  But I didn’t know what keywords were making the sales.  This is the reason why I purchased Xtreme Conversions.

I personally think if you are not making any sales now, Xtreme Conversions will not help you make sales.  It is a software designed to help your ROI.

I bought Xtreme Conversions on the 31st of July.  After I uploaded it to my server I had a bit of trouble getting it to work.. It wouldnt track anything, every time i logged into my Xtreme Conversions account it would say “No Records Found”.  This was very very frustrating for me because I was sending heaps of traffic through and even making sales, but nothing was being recorded.

After about a week we discovered that when Xtreme Conversions generated the code that I place on my landing pages it converted the word “copyright” to the copyright symbol.  This completly stopped the software from working.

Once this was sorted I started to see the keywords that people were searching.  I thought “thank god! it’s finally working”.   However I have to manually change the code that Xtreme Conversion produces everytime I want to track keywords from a new landing page.  This is a little annoying but it’s an easy fix.  This error may be fixed with the current versions of Xtreme Conversions.

After a few Clickbank sales I uploaded my sales data to Xtreme Conversions.  After I uploaded the data Xtreme Conversions froze and I had to close the window.  I then logged into Xtreme Conversions using a new window and everything was good.  I looked at my sales data and I liked what I saw.  Xtreme Conversions told me what keywords were searched for which got me the sales.

“The initial setup of Xtreme Conversions was frustrating and took too long, but now that I know what I am doing I am glad I bought it.”

What I really like is that Xtreme Conversions tell you the keyword that made the sale, even if the keyword is not in your keyword list.

For example, lets say one of my ad groups has this keyword list:
watch tv on computer
watch tv with computer
watch tv using computer
etc. etc. etc.

Xtreme Conversions would track keywords even if they are not in my list.  Lets say somebody searched for:
“How to watch TV on my computer screen”

They then made a purchase..

Xtreme Conversions would actually record that you made a sale from “how to watch TV on my computer screen”.

Why was this good for me?
Since I didn’t have the keyword “screen” in my keyword list I then added it.  This also gave me other ideas to ad keywords like “monitor”

If you are making a few sales and don’t have any software to track keyword conversions then I really think your should get it.  However If you are not making many sales then it’s probably not going to help you out as much.

I looked at Google a few days just to check how one of my sites were going.. and WOW.. for a search term with 41,500,000 results I am ranking number 4.

This is from a site that I haven’t made any updates on since September 2006.  I wonder how long I will hold this position for?

No not really.  The site only gets about 250-300 uniques a day which gives me about $4 a day.

Setting up your Ringtones Campaign

Hi Guys,

Here is my little guide for making money with Ringtones.

1.  Get your Ringtones keywords.
2.  Setup your landing page to send traffic from different carriers to different offers.
3.  Prune your keywords by deleting non converting keywords and keywords with poor CTR’s.

Sounds simple right?  Well, it’s not that simple at all.

If your CTR for your campaign falls below 1% you will not get many of your ads displayed, meaning less clicks, meaning less money.

Instead if throwing 1000’s of keywords into your Ringtones campaign, you should put in 500, leave it for a day or two.. During these days you should delete keywords that will not convert into leads, also delete poor CTR keywords..

Once you have pruned the 1st 500 keywords add in another 500.  Do the same thing.  The do the next 500 etc.  Doing this will keep your CTR high enough so that your ads will continue to be displayed.

How to create your campaign in Yahoo Search Marketing
Create a campaign, Only target USA if thats all the offer will pay you for. 
Name you ad group Default (you will just be usign this ad group to copy all of your ads, I will explain later)
Create an ad like this:

Note: You can use any display URL you want

Just enter ONE keyword for now.  > Activate yoru campaign
Go into the ad group you just created and delete the keyword you put in there.

Make a total of 20 different ads for your ad group.  Try to mix it up a bit using different main keywords in your ad.  Use keywords like: ringtones, phone, cell, mobile, tone, mp3, polyphonic etc.  This is so yahoo will display the most relevent at for the search term and will help your CTR.

After you have written all of your ads:  In the top right of the ad group screen you will see a blue box saying Ad Group Options.  Click it and choose copy adgroup.  This is a quick way to copy all of the ads your just wrote out and saves you writing them again and again.

Use the Adgroup name: Group 1

Now in the Group you just created (Group 1), Add 500 keywords.

Let this run for an hour or 2 and you will have enough impression to start removing non converting keywords.  This is not long enough to remove poor CTR keywords.  Once a keyword reaches 150 impressions and does not have a click, delete it.

Constantly “tune” the ad group for a day or 2.  The add another 500 keywords to the group and do the same thing.  (The max amount of keywords per group is 1000)

Once this ad group is full of keywords, go back to your default ad group and copy it again.

Name the new ad group “Group 2″
Add another 500 keywords to this group and start “tuning”.. continue this until you have use up all of the keywords you have.

Dont forget to keep looking at all of your ad groups, you don’t want you CTR for any ad group falling below 1%.  (The higher the better)

So what keywords can you use?  Use my free ~ 21k list of Ringtones keywords!

As you can see, there are some doubles and some keywords in this list that simply will not convert into leads for ringtones.  This keyword list was gatherd from a number of places including Yahoo, Google, Ask and Keycomplete.com

What landing page can you use?  Well I dont have one to give you guys at the moment, but if you look at other peoples landing pages you will get a fair idea of how to make yours.

The reason why I have decided to make this product is because I have imported a few R32 GTR Skylines from Japan using an import broker.  I also work in freight forwarding as my day job and import goods from overseas every day.  I know what I am talking about, so refunds should be very low for my product.  I can also offer support for my customers.

Holy Shit! Best Clickbank Day Ever!!

OMG! I cannot beleive what I am seeing.  I have been trying to look for errors etc but cant seem to find any.. . Here are my Clickbank stats so far today

CB account 2: $169
= $227 in sales

YSM costs: $69
Adwords costs: $3
= $72 advertising costs

I was thinking of ways to capitalise on the new Simpsons movie that is about to come out.  I started searching domain names the other day and found that simpsonsmovie.com was registered to Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation back in 1997!  See whois info

I didnt know the internet existed back then haha.  Well, there is not really a point to this post, I just thought it was interesting.
